  3. The Modem submenu (Environment menu) can send several common commands to the modem for you.

  5. ‚Ä¢  Pause Incoming Text tells the remote computer to
  6.     suspend its output until you tell it to resume.

  8. ‚Ä¢  Send Break sends a break command to the remote
  9.     computer telling it to abort the current task.
  10.     This command may not be recognized by the remote.

  12. ‚Ä¢  Hang up hangs up the modem.

  14. ‚Ä¢  Preferences lets you set the dialing command, hang up
  15.     command, and speaker volume for the modem
